This listing is for five 100% wool fabrics in some of my most popular gray and white textures and plaids. I have prepared all by washing and drying in a dryer with fluffy towels, making them perfectly ready to use in rug hooking, applique, and sewing projects.
A perfect bundle to add to your stash. Use for clouds, snowmen, Santa's beard, sheep, angels, snow on the mountains, snow on the roof, snow and shadows and all your favorite animals. Use in geometric rugs, pincushions, pillows, quilts, wall hangings, table runners and purses.
Choose the size that works best for your project. The sizes shown in the photos are Fat 1/8ths.
Here are approximate sizes depending on shrinkage (usually 10 - 15%) during the washing and drying process:
Fat Eighths - approx 13" x 15"
Fat Sixteenths - approx. 6.5" x 15" to 7" x 16"
I have two of these listed separately as fat quarters:
The natural and gray tiny check, (in 2nd photo, 2nd to right) - see listing J660
The tiny texture white and gray, (in 2nd photo, 2nd to left) - see listing J602

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
