Weathered Blue, one fat quarter of wool fabric measuring about 16" x 28"
I have over dyed a grayed windowpane weave with a warm blue recipe that reminds me of weathered copper, mountain meadows, high desert pines, Russian olive trees. Perfect for all the above and for leaves, forest greens, pasture greens, trees, hills, blue green waters, stormy skies and more. It is a wonderful old weathered blue!
I have four fat quarter pieces of this listing. Each piece is unique and each is mottled with lighter and darker areas of the color.
This wool is a medium weight and suitable for wide cut rug hooking (#6 and wider) and for all applique and sewing projects.
Keep in mind that screens and monitors display color tones differently, so these may look different at your house and in your lighting. The photos were taken in bright studio lighting, so the piece may be more muted in your home and may tend to the blue green or green blue depending on your lighting.

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
